What is your returns policy?

You have 14 days from receipt to return unopened items. For hygiene reasons, we're unable to accept returns of opened Batana Butter.

Refunds are processed within 14 days of us receiving the item and confirming that the return conditions have been met.

Standard delivery takes 1–3 working days, depending on your location.

How long before I notice results?

This varies from person to person. Many people notice softer, shinier hair after the first use, while improvements in strength and growth typically become more visible with regular use over time.

How often should I use it?

For most people, 2–3 times a week is enough. If your hair is very dry or damaged, you can use it more frequently.

How do I use Batana Butter?

Take a small amount and warm it between your palms until it softens. Massage into your scalp and hair, and leave it to work for at least 30 minutes — or longer for a deeper treatment — before rinsing out. It can also be used in small amounts on the lengths as a leave-in conditioner.

How do I return an item?

Send an email to kundeservice@mooz.no to start your return. Please include your order number (for example #10044) or the email address you used when placing your order. You'll find your order number in your order confirmation.

How do I track my order?

Once your order has been placed, you'll receive all the tracking information you need by email. You can then track your parcel through the carrier's website or app.

What is Batana Butter?

Mooz Batana Butter is made from batana oil — a natural oil extracted from the nuts of the American oil palm. Batana has been used in Honduras for over 600 years to care for hair and scalp. It's rich in fatty acids, vitamins and antioxidants that nourish, strengthen and add shine, and is also known to support healthy hair growth.

Where does batana come from?

Batana is extracted from the nuts of the Elaeis oleifera palm tree, which grows in Central America. The oil we use is sustainably harvested in Honduras, with respect for traditional methods and local communities.

I've entered the wrong address — what do I do?

We'll always do our best to help if something goes wrong. Once a parcel has been dispatched, we're unfortunately unable to change the address — but please get in touch at kundeservice@mooz.no as soon as possible and we'll see what we can do.

Can I pay by invoice?

Yes, through Klarna you can choose to pay by invoice.

Can I change or cancel my order?

We process orders quickly, but we'll always try to help if you need to make changes or cancel. Once an order has been dispatched, we're unable to make amendments. Please contact us at kundeservice@mooz.no and we'll do our best.

Do I need to pay customs or import fees?

No — with Mooz, there are no customs charges, extra VAT or hidden costs. The price you see is always the price you pay.

When will I be charged for my order?

Payment is taken when your order is confirmed. If you use Klarna, you can choose to pay immediately, defer payment, or split it into instalments.

How quickly do you respond?

We always aim to respond as quickly as possible — usually within 24 hours on weekdays.

Is Batana Butter suitable for all hair types?

Yes. Batana Butter works for all hair types. Simply adjust the amount to suit your needs: a little goes a long way for fine hair, while drier or curlier hair may benefit from a more generous application.

All orders are dispatched from our warehouse in Oslo, Norway, with full tracking, delivered directly to you.

The tracking says my parcel has been delivered — but I haven't received it.

If your parcel hasn't arrived at your door, it's likely been left at your nearest collection point. You should receive a notification by SMS or a card through your letterbox with details of how to collect it.

Will my hair feel greasy or heavy?
