This privacy policy explains how Mooz.no collects and processes personal data.

Mooz AS, represented by its general manager, is responsible for the company's processing of personal data. The data controller has the ultimate responsibility for ensuring that all processing and handling of personal data is carried out in accordance with applicable legislation. Where daily responsibility is delegated, this is stated under each individual point in this statement. Delegation only covers tasks and not responsibility.

The statement contains information about your rights regarding the storage of personal data through a customer relationship with Mooz.no, and general information about how we process personal data in accordance with current privacy legislation.

Mooz.no does not share personal data with others, nor does it use the information for any purpose other than what is stated in this privacy policy.

Personal Data

To complete a purchase on Mooz.no, we need to store your first name, last name, address, mobile number, email, and the products you have ordered.

This is necessary to send the order to the correct delivery address, keep you updated on the order status, and contact you if needed regarding the order.

We are obliged to retain order information in connection with accounting, tax handling, and any warranty and return handling. This history is deleted after ten years. We also retain the IP address used for ordering, for security reasons.

For various purposes, we may need other personal data. Which personal data and their purpose are described further in the privacy policy.

Your Rights

You have the right to access your personal data registered by Mooz.no in accordance with applicable law. You can at any time request to receive this information free of charge in accordance with the law.

Information shall be disclosed/transferred securely. If the data subject submits the request electronically, and unless the data subject requests otherwise, the information shall be provided in a common electronic format.

You can also, at any time, ask us to delete or correct your personal data, provided that we are not obliged to retain it in accordance with applicable law or other obligations we have.

You have the right to receive your own personal data that you have provided to Mooz.no – data portability. If technically possible, we can send this information directly to a new company. Otherwise, we will send the information to you via email.

All personal data we send to you in these contexts will be sent in encrypted file format.

You can withdraw your consent at any time. You can find your consents on "My Page".

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Norwegian Data Protection Authority if you believe that your personal data is not being processed in accordance with this statement.

Archiving of Personal Data

The Accounting Act requires us to store transaction data for 5 years. In order to safeguard customer rights in connection with warranty and complaints in accordance with the Consumer Purchases Act and Mooz's terms of sale, we store purchase history for 10 years.

Securing Personal Data

Mooz.no has routines and measures to ensure that unauthorized persons do not gain access to your personal data, and that processing takes place in accordance with the requirements of current legislation.

You can be sure that Mooz.no stores your personal data securely.

Delivery of Goods

We cooperate with carriers such as Bring and PostNord for the delivery of goods. We disclose personal data necessary for delivery: name, address, phone number, and email. The information is deleted within 36 months.

Payment Solutions

For security reasons, we store history containing the IP address from which we receive orders. Payment information at Mooz.no includes: IP address, name, address, email, and mobile phone number.

All systems that process personal data related to order payment are restricted to employees who perform necessary tasks related to the order.

Card Payments

Card numbers are not stored beyond what is necessary to ensure efficient handling of any problems with charges, reservation cancellations, and credits. It is not possible for Mooz.no to view the full card number in our systems after a purchase has been completed.

Should problems arise with a card payment, the payment managers at Mooz.no can view the first 6 and last 4 digits of the card number to identify the bank and assist in resolving the problem.

If you choose a card as your payment method, payment and card details will be shared with our payment provider and only used to complete the payment.

Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. These are used to improve the user experience and keep you logged in.

The purpose is to provide basic functionality such as session management, analysis, personalization, and marketing.

Marketing

The legal basis for email and SMS marketing is consent.

We may collaborate with partners for sending marketing communications and tracking ads to display relevant offers.

GDPR for newsletters

Personal data that may be stored for newsletters: email address, name, and postal code.

The purpose of name is to identify the subscriber.
The purpose of email is for sending marketing communications (consent).
The purpose of postal code is to distinguish similar names.

When registering at checkout, a mobile number may also be stored, but is only used in the subscriber profile in our email platform.

Information is stored until you unsubscribe from the newsletter or request deletion.

Mooz.no does not share personal data beyond what is necessary to provide services or where we are legally obliged.
